Public Biography
Senator Gerald Frisch is a Republican United States senator from Ohio, serving since 2015. He has publicly opposed the National Dissolution and Bilateral Sovereignty Act, which he described in a statement as “constitutionally unserious.”
Mr. Frisch was born in Columbus, Ohio, and attended Ohio State University, where he studied constitutional law. He earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and served as Ohio’s attorney general for two terms before his election to the Senate. He sits on the Committee on the Judiciary and the Committee on Armed Services.
He has described himself as “one of the last people in this building who still believes the Constitution is a load-bearing document rather than a suggestion.”
