Public Biography
Marcus Enright is a vice president at Meridian Surgical Technologies, where he oversees the company’s robotics accounts in the western United States. He joined Meridian in 2012 and served until early 2026 as vice president of regional sales for the company’s Patella Implant Division, a position from which he announced, in January 2026, the discontinuation of the division’s New York metropolitan sales territory following the collapse in demand for knee reconstruction that accompanied the death of John Reese.
Mr. Enright’s public statements are notable for their modeling vocabulary. Of the New York collapse he said, “We modeled for normal criminal activity. We did not model for the retirement of one very specific individual with one very specific methodology.” Of the October 2026 dismissal of a Halsted robotic system from a procedure in progress at Codornices Medical Center, he said, “The system did not malfunction. It was dismissed. Those are different incident codes.”
He holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Marquette University and an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
